MISSION: Just as with other sports for players with challenges, Challenger Football is about the entire experience and transforming disabilities into abilities and achievements. With the assistance of Football Buddies, Challenger players will run, wheel, throw, catch, and score as in all football games. Even though no score is kept and this is a non-competitive environment, it is extremely exciting and fulfilling for all!
WHO CAN PLAY: The Challenger League is open to all persons with mental and physical challenges, ages 5 through 18. Here they are able to enjoy the game of football in a safe supervised environment.
WHERE WE PLAY: We play on the Blue Valley area High School Turf Football Fields.
THE GAME: The Challenger flag football game is played with the assistance of Challenger Football volunteers as well as challenger players’ family members, Games are played on a shortened field for a limited amount of time. There will be no practices or physical contact.
